Floral and 3D Art — the detail

What is in this collection

14 sets in total. By shape, 12 almond and 2 square. By length, 8 long, 4 medium and 2 short. Every set contains ten nails, five per hand, pre-arranged and labelled left and right, in sizes XS, S and M. Applied in about five minutes and worn 3 to 5 days with adhesive tabs, or up to 14 days with nail glue.

Choosing 3d floral press-on nails

Raised details need a little more care at removal. Soak, then lift from the side with a wooden stick. Never pull from the tip, which is where the 3D work is attached.

Why the flowers are raised

Every petal on a 3D floral press-on nails set is sculpted and placed by hand rather than printed onto the surface. Hold one at an angle and you can see the shadow the petal casts — that shadow is the whole difference between this and a printed floral, and it is why these take longer to make and sell out sooner.

Handling raised work

Sculpted detail sits above the nail, so it meets the world first. Reach into a bag with the flat of your hand rather than your fingertips, and take the set off before any task that involves gripping something rough. If a petal does catch, do not pull it — a drop of glue at the base and thirty seconds of pressure sets it back.

Where it works

Raised floral reads beautifully in photographs and at conversation distance, which makes it a natural choice for engagements, graduations and Eid. It is a poor choice for a week of typing. If you want floral you can live in, look at the printed and french-tip collections instead, and keep the sculpted sets for the days that deserve them.

Step 01

Measure

Your size

XS, S and M are the width across the nail bed, not the length of the nail. Confusing the two is the single most common reason a set has to be exchanged.
