Medium Press-On Nails

A medium set extends a few millimetres past the fingertip — long enough to read clearly as a manicure, short enough to stay practical.

Medium is the compromise length, and it is where most of the range sits. If you want the set to be noticed but you still have a full working day to get through, this is it.

Medium is the longest length that still tolerates being applied with adhesive tabs rather than glue. Beyond this, glue holds noticeably better.

Every set comes in sizes XS, S and M, where size is the width across the nail bed and not the length. Applied in about five minutes, worn 3 to 5 days with adhesive tabs or up to 14 days with nail glue. Sets are priced from 129 SAR.

Two things. You start typing from the pad of the finger rather than the tip, which takes about a day to become automatic. And you become aware of the tip when reaching into a bag or a pocket — not enough to be a problem, but enough that you will move a little more deliberately for the first day.

Medium suits almond and squoval particularly well: both have enough length to show the shape properly without the fragility that arrives at long. Medium square is the one combination we would think twice about, because the flat tip at this length starts to act as a lever.
